Idea
EastRide is my motorcycle travel project in Vietnam, and the film was made for its social media. Talking about rentals was not required, what mattered more was conveying a feeling: a sunset over a mountain lake, a motorcycle and a road worth travelling.
Visual language
The lake and mountains are shown in calm wide shots, which give way to first-person shots from the handlebars of a Royal Enfield. Soft light and lilac sunset colours keep a single tone. The ending is simple: a helmet on a parapet, mountains behind and the EastRide logo.
